What gets written here
Reviews of one option at a time, pairwise comparisons where the difference actually matters, and background pieces on how the category works.
Each page is built around one question, and carries the date it was last updated so a reader can see how current it is.
How pages are put together
Where one option is better than another for a given job, that is said in words, with the reason attached. It is never expressed as a number.
- No scores out of ten, no star ratings, no tier boards and no leaderboards.
- No description of testing that did not take place.
- Pricing and feature claims are checked against the vendor’s own pages, and dated where the page says so.
- Where something is genuinely unclear, the page says it is unclear rather than guessing.

Outbound links on this site are ordinary links. They carry no affiliate tracking and earn no commission, so there is nothing riding on which of them you click.
